Motorists who have unpaid parking tickets and would normally have to pay late fees and court costs can save money by paying their tickets April 6 – 24 during the special amnesty period announced by Mayor Kathy Taylor.
“With more than $2.2 million in outstanding parking tickets, we want to give Tulsa drivers a chance to pay their fines, without additional late fees or court costs, before more intensive collection efforts are launched,” the mayor said.
Anyone who believes they may have one or more outstanding parking citations, but has misplaced the actual citation or does not know the number, can call 596-7761 to determine if they have one. Citizens should have their license tag number available when calling.
The amnesty does not apply to citations for moving violations or other municipal tickets or warrants; only to parking tickets.
Payment of outstanding parking citations may be made at the cashier’s windows at City Hall in the One Technology Center, 175 East 2nd Street. Payments can be made in cash, money order, by personal check or with Mastercard or Visa credit and debit cards.
