Street Closing for Special Event — Tulsarama Unearthing the Belverdere

Friday, June 15, the “Tulsarama Unearthing the Belverdere” takes place near 500 South Denver Avenue. Crowds in excess of 50,000 are anticipated to attend and watch the 1957 Plymouth Belevdere be taken from the ground just as it was put 50 years ago. Once unearthed at Noon, this car and contents will be transported to the Tulsa Convention Center in preparation for the 6:30 PM unveiling.

Staging: Denver Avenue between 4th Street and 6th Street and 5th Street between Denver Avenue and Cheyenne Avenue will be closed from 10 AM Thursday to 5 PM Friday.
