
This year’s Neighborfest, a series of block-parties hosted by the Mayor and City Councilor, will be bigger and better than ever with “Tulsa Talents” – a talent show competition hosted by recording artist Wayman Tisdale and his wife, Regina. The winning act will receive $500.
Starting on Tuesday, May 27th and continuing through August 5th, performers will have a chance to ‘strut their stuff’ in a Tulsa Park near their own house. Bands, singers, dancers are all encouraged to get a “Tulsa Talents” application from the Tulsa Parks website. Neighborfests are from 5pm to 7pm on most Tuesdays this summer.
Wayman Tisdale, an international jazz performer and recording artist, and his wife Regina, will be honorary Chairs for this nine-week competition, culminating on August 5th at the Neighborfest “Back to School Rally” at Veterans Park – 1875 S. Boulder.
