City of Tulsa Weekly Street Construction Update

New: Eleventh Street Bridge over the Arkansas River: Beginning Monday, December 31, traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction for one month during joint repair on the bridge. (Becco Contractors Inc.)
West 51st Street, South union avenue to south 33rd west avenue: Workers are flagging traffic as needed during street rehabilitation. Completion of this project is scheduled in three weeks. (Pavement Conservation Specialists Inc.)
Third Street, Denver Avenue to Frisco Avenue: The road is closed to traffic for one month during street rehabilitation around the downtown arena. (Becco Contractors Inc.)
South Delaware Avenue, East Third Street to I-244 Martin Luther King Expressway: The northbound curb lane is closed for one week during sidewalk installation. This is part of a street improvement project for Delaware Avenue between 11th Street and I-244 Martin Luther King Expressway. (Horizon Construction Co.)
East Pine Street, Yorktown Avenue to Utica Avenue: The westbound curb lane is closed for three weeks during street rehabilitation on Pine Street between Lewis Avenue and Peoria Avenue. Completion of the project is scheduled for April 2008. (Horizon Construction Co.)
HOUSTON AVENUE, THIRD STREET TO SEVENTH STREET: Traffic is limited to one northbound lane and one southbound lane during street reconstruction. Project completion is scheduled for July 2008(APAC Oklahoma Inc.)
Third Street at HOuston AVenue: Traffic is limited to one eastbound lane and one westbound lane during street reconstruction between Houston and Frisco avenues. Project completion is scheduled for July 2008. (Becco Contractors Inc.)
South Denver Avenue, West Fourth Street to West Seventh Street: Traffic is limited to one northbound lane and one southbound lane during street rehabilitation. Project completion is scheduled for June 2008. (Becco Contractors Inc.)
West Fourth Street, Frisco Avenue to Denver Avenue: Traffic is limited to two eastbound lanes during street rehabilitation. Project completion is scheduled for June 2008. (Becco Contractors Inc.)
Third Street, Denver Avenue to Frankfort Avenue: Traffic is limited to one eastbound lane and one westbound lane during construction of the Centennial Walk and street reconstruction. Completion of Centennial Walk is scheduled for February 2008, and the street reconstruction is scheduled for completion in July 2008.
West Fourth Street, Boulder Avenue to Main Street; and Boulder Avenue at Fourth STreet: Traffic is limited to two eastbound lanes on Fourth Street, and two northbound lanes on Boulder Avenue at Fourth Street. A four-way stop sign is in use at the intersection of Fourth and Boulder. This Centennial Walk project is scheduled for completion in February 2008. (Magnum Construction Co.)
South Boston Avenue, Third Street to Seventh STreet: Traffic is limited to two northbound lanes. Also, the south curb lane on Third Street at Boston Avenue is closed. Four-way stop signs are in place at the intersections of Fourth Street, Fifth Street, Sixth Street and Seventh Street with Boston Avenue. This is part of street improvements, sidewalk enhancements and conversion to two-way traffic on South Boston Avenue between Third and 10th streets. Completion of the project is scheduled for February 2008. Waiting for AEP-PSO to install power for traffic signals. (Horizon Construction Co.)
South Peoria Avenue, East 11th Street to EAst 15th Street: The two center lanes are closed during construction of the Midland Valley Trail. (Keystone Services)
Southwest Boulevard and Riverside Drive intersection: Traffic on Southwest Boulevard is limited to one lane in each direction until completion of the project in March 2008. (Crossland Heavy Contractors)
36th STreet North, Cincinnati Avenue to Tulsa/Osage county line: Construction is under way for widening this road to five lanes. Completion of the project is scheduled for February 2008. (Horizon Construction Co.)
East 91st Street, South Yale AVenue to South Sheridan Road: Street rehabilitation has begun, and workers are flagging traffic. Completion is scheduled for June 2008. (APAC-Oklahoma Inc.)
South Garnett Road, East 51st STreet to East 61st Street: Construction is under way for widening this road to five lanes. Completion of the project is scheduled for October 2008. (Becco Contractors Inc.)
