Yale Avenue to close just south of 91st Street on Sunday, Jan. 29 during work on waterline and storm sewer crossings

Construction crews will close South Yale Avenue just south of East 91st Street on Sunday, January 29, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for work on waterlines and storm sewers crossing Yale Avenue.

Access to the Creek Turnpike from Yale Avenue between 91st Street and 101st Street will be blocked during this time. Also, motorists on the Creek Turnpike who exit at Yale Avenue will not be able to travel north after exiting.

This construction is part of the widening of the 91st Street and Yale Avenue intersection and widening of Yale Avenue between 91st Street and the Creek Turnpike. Completion of the project is scheduled for December 2006.
