NEW: 3100 N. GARNETT ROAD - On Monday, May 5, the road will be closed to through traffic from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for bridge stabilization.
NEW: RIVERSIDE PARKWAY, TRENTON AVENUE TO 81ST STREET: Traffic is limited to one lane in each direction for three weeks during joint repair on the bridge over Joe Creek. The speed limit has been reduced to 25 miles per hour.
EAST 11TH STREET, SOUTH MINGO ROAD TO HIGHWAY 169: Traffic is limited to one eastbound lane and one westbound lane for two months during waterline replacement and street reconstruction.
DOWNTOWN STREET INFORMATION:
WEST FIRST STREET, CHEYENNE AVENUE TO FRISCO AVENUE: Traffic is limited to one westbound lane for three months during street reconstruction and arena completion.
EAST SECOND STREET, SOUTH BOULDER AVENUE TO SOUTH CINCINNATI AVENUE: Traffic is limited to one eastbound lane for two months during street reconstruction.
WEST THIRD STREET AT SOUTH HOUSTON AVENUE: Traffic is limited to one eastbound lane and one westbound lane for two weeks during reconstruction of Houston Avenue between Third Street and Heavy Traffic Way.
THIRD STREET, DENVER AVENUE TO DETROIT AVENUE: Traffic is limited to one eastbound lane and one westbound lane during construction of the Centennial Walk and street reconstruction. Completion of Centennial Walk is scheduled for May 2008, and the street reconstruction is scheduled for completion in July 2008.
EAST THIRD STREET, ELGIN AVENUE TO DETROIT AVENUE: Traffic is limited to one way westbound for one week. This is part of the Centennial Walk Phase I project scheduled for completion in May 2008.
WEST FOURTH STREET, DENVER AVENUE TO BOULDER AVENUE: Traffic is limited to two eastbound lanes for three months during street reconstruction.
SOUTH CINCINNATI AVENUE, EAST THIRD STREET TO EAST FOURTH STREET: The west curb lane is closed for one week during streetscaping construction.
SOUTH DENVER AVENUE, WEST FIRST STREET TO WEST 11TH STREET: Traffic is limited to one northbound lane and one southbound lane for two months during street reconstruction.
SOUTH HOUSTON AVENUE, WEST THIRD STREET TO HEAVY TRAFFIC WAY: Traffic is limited to one way northbound for two weeks during street reconstruction.
SOUTH HOUSTON AVENUE, WEST THIRD STREET TO WEST SEVENTH STREET: Traffic is limited to one northbound lane and one southbound lane for two weeks during reconstruction of Houston Avenue between Third Street and Heavy Traffic Way.
SOUTHWEST BOULEVARD AT RIVERSIDE DRIVE: Traffic is limited to one lane in each direction until completion of the Cyrus Avery Centennial Plaza in May.
OTHER CITYWIDE CONSTRUCTION:
EAST ADMIRAL PLACE, YALE AVENUE TO SHERIDAN ROAD: Traffic is limited to one eastbound lane and one westbound lane for six months during waterline installation and street rehabilitation.
EAST 81ST STREET, SOUTH SHERIDAN ROAD TO SOUTH MEMORIAL DRIVE: Workers are flagging traffic during this street rehabilitation project, which is scheduled for completion in August 2008.
SOUTH PEORIA AVENUE, EAST 38TH STREET TO EAST 36TH PLACE: The northbound curb lane is closed for one week during water line and sidewalk work. Also, East 37th Street is closed just east of Peoria. This is part of an intersection improvement project on South Peoria Avenue from East 36th Place to Skelly Drive. Completion is scheduled for August 2008.
SOUTH UTICA AVENUE, EAST 36TH STREET TO EAST 41ST STREET: Traffic is limited to one-way southbound for two weeks during installation of a waterline. This is part of a larger project that includes Utica Avenue between 31st Street and 41st Street, and East 36th Street South, between Utica and Lewis Avenues.
SOUTH SHERIDAN ROAD, EAST 21ST STREET TO EAST 25TH STREET: Traffic is limited to one northbound lane and one southbound lane for three weeks during street rehabilitation. This is part of a street rehabilitation project for Sheridan Road between East 21st Street and the Broken Arrow Expressway.
SOUTH GARNETT ROAD, EAST 51ST STREET TO EAST 61ST STREET: Construction is under way to widen this road to five lanes. Because no room is available for a left-turn lane during construction, left turns are not permitted from Garnett Road to 61st Street until completion of the project in October 2008.
