Utilities Services

The City sends out approximately 144,000 utility bills monthly. A residential bill will include five charges: water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, trash service, and EMSA TotalCare. For more information on the EMSA TotalCare medical service program, please contact EMSA at 396-2888, or visit www.emsaonline.com. If you are a new customer, you may decline to participate in the EMSA TotalCare medical service program by submitting a completed Declaration of Non-Participation. Recycling pick-up is an optional service.

Activating your water, sewer and refuse utilities is only a phone call away. Call 596-9511 and provide the Public Works customer account representative with your name, telephone number, Social Security number and current employer and your utilities will be activated the same day. A deposit, the amount of which depends on the type of services you require, may be added to the account.

If you are aware of or suspect a previous problem with services to the property you are purchasing or renting, such as an outstanding balance, please visit Utility Services, City Hall (street level), 200 Civic Center. Along with your telephone number, Social Security number and current employer, please provide a photo ID and a copy of your lease agreement if you are renting or deed if you are purchasing the property.
