Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma provides legal assistance to persons
sixty years of age and older in Creek, Osage and Tulsa Counties with
non-criminal legal problems. Program staff answer questions, draft
documents and represent individuals in court.

Persons seeking services should call either number listed above, Monday
through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Senior Law Project helps with various types of civil matters,
including Social Security, Supplemental Security Income,
Medicare/Medicaid, landord-tenant, nursing home problems, guardianships,
wills, advance directives, powers of attorney, consumer, financial, and
property issues. The program is staffed by licensed attorneys.

Program attorneys will not represent persons in divorces, child custody
matters, or fee generating cases, such as car wrecks or personal injury
matters. In addition, the program does not provide assistance in
criminal matters. If we cannot help with your legal problem, we will try
to refer you other resources.

In addition to serving individuals, the Senior Law Project also provides
community education programs for senior centers, nutrition sites and
other community groups.

All client communications are confidential.

Services are free. Voluntary contributions are used to serve more
persons who cannot afford legal assistance.
