KENNEY CHESNEY TO PERFORM AT THE BOK CENTER.

Tulsa BOK Center has landed another great concert by a star singer!

On Sept. 10, 2008, lights at the new arena will go on for country singer and songwriter Kenny Chesney, who will stop in Tulsa as part on his nationwide “Poets and Pirates” tour.  

The Cesar Pelli-designed BOK Center  was chosen as only one of 13 arenas across the U.S. to host Chesney’s concerts! The concert will also feature special guest LeAnn Rimes.

Ticket sales begin on Saturday, March 1, at 10 a.m. The tickets cost $72.50 and can be purchased through:

Kenny Chesney is the Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year (for the past 3 years) and Billboard’s Country Songwriter/Artist of the Year. His current platinum album “Just Who I Am: Pirates and Poets” has features such hits as “Never Wanted Nothing More,” “Don’t Blink,” and “Shift Work.” He has sold over 1 million tickets per year for the last 6 years.

LeAnn Rimes is a holder of 12 Billboard awards, three Academy of Country Music honors, and two Grammys, including the Best New Artist (first ever country singer to win that category). Her most famous songs include “One Way Ticket,” “I Need You,” and “How Do I Live.”
