Computer Support/LAN Associate Consultant
Under direction is responsible for selecting, testing, recommending, implementing and maintaining computer and data communications hardware and operating systems and utility software for a large scale, multi-tasking, multi-user on-line computer environment; implements and maintains continuous user uninterrupted data transmission capabilities; evaluates statistical data as a basis for fine-tuning the multiple operating systems software and optimizing equipment utilization; maintenance of compiler software and utility programs; and performs other related assigned duties.
Database Services Manager
Manager of Database Services team is responsible for enterprise-wide databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, DB2) and data architecture. This position will be responsible for database and data architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization. This position will also be involved in strategy and development at all tiers of the Enterprise Database management infrastructure including, but not limited to, development of database methodologies for design, archival, replication, integration, recovery, capacity planning and reporting.
Data Center Manager
Under general direction manages the data center activities and technical staff in the Information Technology Operations and Support Department, planning, administering and coordinating the installation of hardware equipment, software applications and related maintenance agreements and performs other related assigned duties.
Directory Services Mananger
Under direction is responsible for managing, planning, and controlling the technical staff and activities related to the implementation and system administration of a City-wide Directory Services (DS) in an enterprise environment and performs other related assigned duties.
Enterprise Webmaster
Under general direction responsible for planning, implementing and supporting a city-wide intranet/internet system and administrative tasks involving technical analysis, evaluation, design, maintenance, support, training and performance monitoring of new or modified file server and micro-computer based applications, various network operating systems and other related assigned duties.
Network Systems Engineer
Under direction is responsible for evaluating, testing, recommending, implementing and maintaining data communications hardware and operating system for a large municipal area network, administering management of network to include utility applications, traffic flow analysis/optimization, errors and outages detection/isolation and correction, building and campus network designs and other related assigned duties.
