Street Closing for Special Event - Tax Night

Tuesday, April 15, the “Tax Night (U.S. Mail Tax Collections)” takes place near 300 South Denver Avenue. Motorists in excess of 2,000 are anticipated to drive Downtown to the Page Belcher Federal Building for the tax collection dead line, which begins at 6:00 PM and ends at Midnight.

Staging Set-up: The west sidewalk adjacent to Denver Avenue between 3rd Street and 4th Street Avenue will be restricted or blocked from 6:00 PM to Midnight for the federal employee working area.

Pick-up Area: The left turn lanes of Denver Avenue between 3rd Street and 4th Street will be closed from 6:00 PM to Midnight for the tax collection pick-up site.

Traffic Control: Police will control traffic on Denver Avenue between 3rd Street and 4th Street from 6:00 PM to Midnight.
