Home Buying Education

In association with the North Tulsa Showcase of Homes, potential buyers can attend a four-hour buyer’s education course sponsored by three certified non-profit Community Housing Development Organizations, (CHDO’s) Metropolitan Housing, Housing Partners of Tulsa (HPT) and the

Community Action  Project (CAP) are partnering with the Metropolitan Tulsa Urban League and Consumer Credit Counseling Centers of Oklahoma.

Qualified buyers that complete a homebuyer education program and purchase a home in Tulsa city limits and some surrounding areas may receive up to $3,500 to apply toward down payment assistance and closing costs. The four-hour education course is divided into three sessions:
