Greenwaste
The City of Tulsa offers a YARD WASTE DROP OFF service free to
Tulsa residents.
Tree branches, grass clippings and leaves are accepted. A
current driver's license with a Tulsa address must be presented to
site monitors in order to waive charges. Commercial and Non-Tulsa
Residents can also drop off yard waste for a small fee.
You can pick up an unlimited amount of FREE WOOD CHIPS by
visiting the City of Tulsa's Greenwaste site.
Mulch helps control weed and plant growth without the use of
herbicides in gardens and ornamental planting areas. It can also
help conserve soil moisture and keep soil temperatures more
moderate during extremely hot and cold weather.
FREE FIREWOOD and a cutting area are available at the current
wood chip site at 10401 E. 56th St. North. Those who cut wood at
the site must bring their own tools.
The City of Tulsa's Greenwaste site is located at 10401 East
56th Street North (one-half mile west of Highway 169 on 56th Street
North), is open seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (excluding City
holidays.)
