Special Refuse Services
Besides Basic Trash Service, the City of Tulsa offers several
other options for refuse services. These include bulky waste
pick-up, dead animal collection, and yard-waste drop-off.
Anti-Litter Campaigns
The City of Tulsa holds annual events to focus attention on
anti-litter education and provide clean up of litter throughout the
community.
Bulky Waste Service
To arrange for curbside pickup of large household-related items
such as furniture and appliances, call (918) 596-9777. Construction
or demolition debris, excess yard waste, trees, stumps and
automobiles are not accepted. Have your bulky waste item out within
four feet of the traveled portion of the road by 6 a.m. on the day
pick up is scheduled. Your item should be accessible from the road,
and should not be obstructed by trees, power lines, parked cars,
etc.
Dead Animal Collection
For more information or service on pickup of dead animals from
streets and yards, call (918) 596-9771.
Yard Waste Drop-off
City of Tulsa residents can drop off yard waste such as grass clippings,
leaves and tree limbs free of charge. A current driver's license
with a City of Tulsa address must be presented. (Commercial
customers and residential customers living outside Tulsa city
limits will be billed for this drop-off service.) In conjunction
with the Yard Waste drop-off, the City also offers free wood chip
pickup.
Other Collection and Disposal
For special waste disposal problems, such as construction debris,
that cannot be resolved by these residential services, contact a
licensed commercial hauler to determine the best disposal option.
Haulers are listed under "Trash Hauling" in the yellow pages.
