Scheduling a Mediation Session

Cases may be filed in person or by mail. To file in person: 600 Civic Center, Suite 108, with your $5 processing charge, and be prepared to give the following information:

  1. Your name, address, and telephone numbers (work and home);
  2. The name, address, and telephone numbers of the person, or company, against whom you are filing the complaint;
  3. The nature of your dispute, and the amount of money, if any, involved.

If you prefer to file by mail, simply mail in the above information with your check or money order for $5 to the following address: Early Settlement, 600 Civic Center, Suite 108, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74103. Please indicate when you would prefer your mediation to be scheduled. Be sure to include a phone number where you can be contacted if there are questions regarding your case.

Upon receiving your information, a mediator will be assigned to your case. The person or organization with whom you are having the dispute will be notified by mail of the complaint and the date, time, and place of the meeting. You will receive a courtesy copy of the hearing notice. All that remains will be for you and the other party to attend the mediation session prepared to work out a lasting solution to the dispute. Although you may choose to attend with counsel, you are not required to have either an attorney or witnesses present during the mediation session.
