The Human Rights Department is the City of Tulsa department, created by Title 5 of the City of Tulsa Revised Ordinances that receives and investigates complaints of discrimination. The department provides training regarding discrimination law and issues. In this regard, the Human Right Staff can provide training in the following areas;
All issues are in relationship to a difference of treatment in the areas of: Age;Race;Color;Sex:National Orgin; Religion; Disability; and Familal Status

Through the Human Rights internship program you can learn about Human Rights and other related issues along with gaining practical work experience.
The goal of the Internship Program is to provide internship opportunities that will equip students with practical, real-world work experiences that will help them transition into a successful career in the public or private sector. Students serve as unpaid interns while assisting on a variety of projects. Most often, they do a combination of research, writing and general office work. Requirements: Applicant must be enrolled in a college or university. All positions are temporary and can last from a minimum of one month to up to 12 months . Internship Application

Veal, Jr., Business Development Specialist with Oklahoma District Office Small Business Administration (SBA) and Susan McClune, Transportation Manager with Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) have agreed to share their interpretation of the Small Business Act and some of the Code of Federal Regulations that the BRIDGE certification program is in pursuant to.

What are public accommodations and requirements under the law? There will be a tour of the Center.
