Corporal Jared Shoemaker Military and Veterans Resource Lounge
The
Corporal Jared Shoemaker Military and Veterans Resource Lounge at
Tulsa International Airport is designed to serve personnel in all
branches of the military - active duty, National Guard, reserves,
retirees, veterans and their family members. All services provided
at the center are free to our guests and are made possible by the
generosity of private donors.
Location: Terminal A Post Security between Gate
20 and Gate 22
Time: The hours of operation are 4 a.m.
to 11:30 p.m. or until the last flight of the day arrives.
Some of the amenities' at the center include:
- 37" flat screen television with cable provided by Cox
Communications
- Comfortable seating for over 20 people
- Three work stations complete with two computers, two printers,
three phones, and free wireless internet access.
- A brochure rack stocked with informational materials about
services available to veterans, active duty, Guard, reservists, and
their family members
- Retail shops will give a 10% discount, Java Daves will provide
free coffee and all food venues throughout the airport will give a
15% discount and free fountain drinks for those who have an active
duty, reserve, or Guard I.D.
STRANDED ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE PERSONNEL who find
themselves at the Tulsa International Airport and receive a room
overnight and hot meal free of charge. Just locate the nearest
airport official for information.
Family members who wish to wait with their active duty
military personnel in the Corporal Jared Shoemaker Military and
Veterans Resource Lounge before he or she departs
may request a pass from the airline's ticket counter that the troop
will be traiveling with. It is the airline's discretion whether or
not they issue a pass.
