Mayor Kathy Taylor

Greetings!

I hope each of you can catch the Mayor's Report on TGOV this month. The Mayor's Report is a television show that airs daily at noon on TGOV, Channel 24 and covers topics in Tulsa such as education, economic development, public safety, transportation, sustainability, and more. This month's topic covers education with special guests Dr. Keith Ballard, Tulsa Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Barry Epperley, artistic director and conductor of Tulsa Community College's Signature Symphony and Jan Crevling, Community School Coordinator for the Community Service Council. These talented people in our community spoke with me about quality programs such as Teach for America, Mentoring to the Max, additional out-of-school programs to reach kids through Mentoring to the Max with Music and community schooling.

Coming up in the new few months I will be covering topics on Neighborhoods, Public Safety and Economic Development opportunities. Until next time, please enjoy this month's Mayor's Report on Education.

Sincerely,
Kathy Taylor
Mayor
