
Mayor Announces Energy Initiatives
Mayor Dewey Bartlett announced the City of Tulsa's 2010
Energy/Sustainability Initiatives at an event for Oklahoma energy
leaders held March 3, 2010.
Bartlett discussed over $4 million in grant money that the city
will receive from the federal Energy Efficiency Conservation Block
Grant (EECBG) Program, administered by the U.S. Department of
Energy. Several projects will receive money from the EECBG
grant.

Park Master Plan Now Online
The new Tulsa Park Department Master Plan is finished and now
available for viewing on the City of Tulsa Web site. This is the
first such planning document created for Tulsa Parks in over 30
years.
A public meeting has been set for 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 30 at
Central Center at Centennial Park to review the contents of the new
plan.

Tulsa PAC Launches Brown Bag It Series
The public is invited to experience free music offerings at the
PAC. The PAC Trust's noontime Brown Bag It series begins Wednesday,
March 10 with the Brady Arts Quartet and continues every Wednesday
through April 14.
Concerts begin at 12:10 p.m. in the PAC's Westby Pavilion and
last 40 minutes. Concert goers are invited to bring their lunch to
enjoy with the music.

Business Forums with Mayor Bartlett
Join Mayor Bartlett for one of the business forums being held
throughout the City of Tulsa. Each forum will focus on how the City
of Tulsa can better facilitate growth and remove roadblocks in the
way of prosperity for Tulsa businesses. The first forum was well
attended and we received great feedback.

Immigrant, running at the PAC through March 13. This true
story, featuring country-western, Texas swing and Eastern European
music, is about parents and children, newcomers and natives,
Christians and Jews, and the realization of The American Dream.
