Funding from the Social Innovation Fund, an initiative enacted
under the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act, will be matched
locally by the Tulsa Community Foundation. The funding was granted

Mayor Bartlett Thanks Citizen Volunteers
Last week Mayor Bartlett hosted a volunteer appreciation lunch
in accordance with 'Make a Difference Day', to thank the many
citizen volunteers who donated their time to help beautify
Tulsa.
During the past year, Tulsans donated their time by mowing,
removing graffiti, picking up trash and gardening. At the event,
Mayor Bartlett provided each individual and organization a
certificate of appreciation for their efforts in keeping the City's
parks and rights-of-ways maintained. The lunch for volunteers was
sponsored by the Tulsa Beautification Foundation.
