2011 Tulsey Award Nominations Kick Off
Nominations for the annual Tulsey Awards, which recognize local
entrepreneurs in the community who have significantly impacted the
local economy, are being accepted through October 5. Citizens may
nominate deserving entrepreneurs for a Tulsey Award through the
website, www.thetulseys.com in 10
categories: Civic, Emerging, Entertainment, Franchise, Green,
Interactive, Legend, Serial, Young and Restaurateur.
All entrepreneurs nominated in the public voting process will
automatically be entered into the Entrepreneur of the Year
category. The Tulsey Awards recognize entrepreneurs of Tulsa who
are showing what is possible by creating the solid economic
foundation for our region to build upon. Voting for the nominees
will begin October 12 and will end November 2. The Tulsey Award
winners will be announced at a special celebration, Thursday,
November 17 from 7 - 11 p.m., during Global Entrepreneurship Week
at the world-famous Cain's Ballroom, 423 N. Main St.
Events throughout Global Entrepreneurship Week, including the
Tulseys are being coordinated by the City of Tulsa's Economic
Development Commission, Entrepreneurship Committee. For more
