Business leaders and educators will be hosting events for
entrepreneurs, small business owners and anyone interested in
entrepreneurialism during Tulsa Global Entrepreneurship Week, Nov.

The impact of Tulsa Global Entrepreneurship Week is proving to
be a powerful model to create jobs and startups. Since 2007,
through various programs and services, 64 entrepreneurs have
started a new business in Tulsa, adding 269 jobs and $12.4 million
dollars in annual payroll.
This year's global week events include: networking and resource
summits, presentations on patents, trademarks, communications, and
more. Winners for the SpiritBank/TCC Entrepreneurial Spirit Award
and Tulsey Awards will also be announced during Tulsa Global
Entrepreneurship Week.
All of the events during the week are being coordinated by the
city's Economic Development Commission, Entrepreneurship Committee.
