Clift Richards Sworn in as City Auditor

Clift Richards was recently sworn in office as the new City Auditor at the Tulsa County Courthouse, with the Honorable Judge Thomas P. Thornbrugh presiding over the ceremony.


Results of City Surplus Auction

The City of Tulsa's surplus auction, staged Saturday at the City's surplus property warehouse, brought in $611,000.

Most of the revenue from surplus property sales is returned to the City's general fund which is used for day-to-day operation of most City departments.

Tulsa Selected as Kennedy Center's Any Given Child Arts Program

Tulsa was recently selected to be one of the first in the nation to participate in the Kennedy Center's Any Given Child program. Most Tulsa schools are only able to offer their students part-time music and arts programs.


City of Tulsa Maintenance: Flushing Water Lines

Beginning with Tulsa's oldest neighborhoods, serviced by the Mohawk water treatment plant, residents may expect to see crews in their neighborhoods flushing water lines as early as next week.

This week the City of Tulsa received bids for the continued maintenance of the One Technology Center as part of our first managed competition project. It's an exciting first step as we seek to improve our city services and use our taxpayer dollars more efficiently and effectively. Our City employees have received training to put together a competitive bid, and their proposal will be compared with the best bid presented by an external provider.
