Streets Closed for Multiple Downtown Events This Weekend

Downtown Tulsa will be the place to be this weekend for three art festivals, a Josh Groban concert Friday night at the BOK Center, and Tulsa Drillers games Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoon at ONEOK Field. Several street closures will be in effect.

Three free-admission art festivals will converge on downtown Tulsa this weekend: Tulsa International Mayfest, May 19 - 22; Blue Dome Arts Festival, May 20 - 22; and Deco District Chalk Arts Festival, May 21 - 22.

Streets closed for Mayfest include:

  • Third Street between Boulder Avenue and Cincinnati Avenue
  • Fourth Street between Boulder Avenue and Boston Avenue
  • Fifth Street between Boulder Avenue and Boston Avenue
  • Sixth Street between Main Street and Boston Avenue
  • Main Street between Third Street and Sixth Street
  • Streets closed for the Blue Dome Arts Festival include:
  • Second Street between Detroit Avenue and Frankfort Avenue
  • Elgin Avenue between First Street and Third Street
  • Closed for the Deco District Chalk Arts Festival:
  • Boston Avenue between Fifth Street and Sixth Street

For the Josh Groban concert on Friday, May 20, Third Street will be closed between Denver Avenue and Frisco Avenue, and one lane of First Street also will be closed between Denver Avenue and Frisco Avenue.

For the Tulsa Drillers games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Elgin Avenue will be closed as usual between Archer and Brady streets. Also for fireworks on May 20, Archer Street will be closed between Elgin Avenue and Greenwood Avenue.
