Community Partnerships Revitalize Crutchfield Neighborhood

In a recent news conference, Mayor Dewey Bartlett announced that due to a community partnership, the Tulsa Development Authority has sold 16 residential lots to Habitat for Humanity for construction of new homes in the Crutchfield neighborhood.


City Surplus Auction This Saturday

The City of Tulsa will hold its surplus property auction at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 7 at the City's surplus property facility, 108 N. Trenton Ave.


May Sales Tax Release: Good News for Tulsa

Mayor Dewey Bartlett says the City of Tulsa's sales tax revenue for mid-March to mid-April, as reported by the Oklahoma Tax Commission, is up 3.14 percent compared to the same period last year. Tulsa received $17,206,677, which compares to $16,682,891 for the same period a year ago.


Quality Jobs for Tulsa Veterans

Mayor Dewey Bartlett is working with American Airlines, Spirit Aerosystems and Workforce Oklahoma to help area veterans find quality jobs in the local aerospace and aviation industries.

Last week, I presented to the City Council what I like to call, the "Citizens Budget" for the upcoming fiscal year. My administration has been working diligently with the Citizen's Survey and the KPMG study to determine how to streamline government and make government more efficient. By working through the Citizen's Survey and finding the priorities Tulsans want addressed, we focused on code enforcement, public safety, street repair and other items of need in this proposed budget. We will work with the City Council in the upcoming weeks to have the budget finalized and in place for the first of the fiscal year on July 1.
