Edwards Named Director of Water & Sewer Dept.

Last week Clayton Edwards, deputy director of Environmental Services in the Public Works Department, was selected to lead the new Water and Sewer Department as its Director, effective July 1.

Early Settlement, One of City's Best Programs

For nearly 30 years, the Early Settlement Mediation and Settlement Conferences program has been a highly successful volunteer program in the Tulsa community offered through Tulsa Municipal Courts. Mayor Dewey Bartlett offered praise to those who work in this important program at a news conference and reception this week.

We recently contracted with a firm, URS Corporation, to develop Tulsa's first Sustainability Plan, which will study facilities and fleets and other areas where the City can become more energy efficient and be a role model for our community.
