My visit with leaders in the Department of Justice keeps us in
front of the right people when it comes time to improve our
position with Grants for Police, as well as sharing our views on
fighting crime. I also met with Ambassador Ron Kirk, the U.S. Trade
Representative and member of the President's cabinet to brief him
on our Intermodal plan, which was news he had never heard
before.
I am committed to making regular trips to Washington to continue
sharing our stories and building relationships that will help our
great city prosper, both now and in the future.
