Holiday Schedule for City Hall, City Services

City Hall and other City offices will be closed Thursday, Dec.
24, and Friday, Dec. 25 for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and on
Thursday, Dec. 31 and Friday, Jan. 1, for New Years.
Public safety and mission critical operations will operate as
normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem
may call the City's 24-hour emergency number, 596-9488.
Trash collection service will operate as normal on Thursday,
Dec. 24. Collections will be interrupted only on Friday, Dec. 25,
and Friday, Jan. 1, for the Christmas and New Years holidays.
CHRISTMAS: City employees and Tulsa Refuse Inc. (TRI)
crews will not work on Christmas Day. Customers scheduled for
once-a-week collections on Friday in northwest Tulsa can put out
their trash for pickup on Saturday, Dec. 26. Customers
scheduled for twice-a-week collection are allowed to set out twice
the acceptable amount of solid waste on their next collection day -
Tuesday, Dec. 29.
NEW YEAR'S: City and TRI crews will not work on Friday,
Jan. 1. Customers scheduled for once-a-week collection in northwest
Tulsa will be collected on Saturday, Jan. 2. Customers scheduled
for twice-a-week collection are allowed to set out twice the
acceptable amount of solid waste on their next collection day,
Tuesday, Jan. 5.
Curbside recycling customers with Friday pickups scheduled on
Dec. 25 can put their recyclables out one day early on Dec. 24.
Recycling collectors will work on New Years Day, so customers
scheduled for recycling pickup on Jan 1 can put their containers
out on that Friday.
CHRISTMAS: The City of Tulsa green waste site, 10401 East 56th
Street North, will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25,
and Sunday, Dec. 27. It will be open on Saturday, Dec. 26, and will
resume its normal schedule on Monday, Dec. 28. The green waste site
usually is open every day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except for City
holidays. In addition to wood chips, free firewood also is
available at the site. Those who come for firewood need to bring
their own tools to cut it.
NEW YEAR'S: The green waste site will be closed on Friday, Jan.
1, and on Sunday, Jan. 3. It will be open on Saturday, Jan. 2, and
will resume its usual schedule on Monday, Jan. 4.
CHRISTMAS: Tulsa Parks recreation centers will be closed
Thursday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 25. The City of Tulsa Animal
Welfare Shelter at 3031 North Erie Ave. will be open noon to 4 p.m.
on Thursday, Dec. 24, and will be closed on Friday, Dec. 25. The
shelter's usual schedule is Tuesday through Friday from noon to 6
p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m.
NEW YEAR'S: Tulsa Parks recreation centers will be closed
Thursday, Dec. 31, and Friday, Jan. 1. The Animal Welfare Shelter
will be open noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, and will be
closed on Friday, Jan. 1.
Mohawk and Page Belcher golf courses, as well as the Tulsa Zoo
and Gilcrease Museum, will be open on Thursday, Dec. 24, and closed
on Friday, Dec. 25. These same facilities will be open both
on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The Tulsa Performing Arts
Center will be closed Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25, and
Friday, Jan. 1.
