Paving on East 41st Street, Riverside Drive to Peoria Avenue

Traffic on East 41st Street has been changed to one
eastbound lane between Riverside Drive and South Peoria Avenue for
asphalt paving on Friday, July 30. Two lanes will be open for
eastbound and westbound traffic when paving continues on Saturday
morning, July 31. The work will be completed by early
afternoon.
The contractor will add striping to the road next week, and then
four lanes of traffic will be opened on 41st Street
between Riverside Drive and Peoria Avenue. The contractor has begun
waterline replacement on 41st Street between Peoria
Avenue and Utica Avenue.
This project consists of street improvements and waterline
replacement on South Lewis Avenue between East 31st Street and East
41st Street (completed), and on East 41st Street between South
Lewis Avenue and Riverside Drive. The City of Tulsa has contracted
with Becco Contractors Inc. for this $4.9 million project funded
through the 2005 Bond Issue.
Construction on 41st Street is scheduled for completion in
February 2011.
