City Offices to Close Friday, Monday for Christmas Holiday

City Hall and other City offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 26 for the Christmas holiday. Public safety and mission critical operations will continue as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the Customer Care Center at (918) 596-2100.

Although City offices will be closed on Friday and Monday, regularly scheduled trash service will not be affected. Customers whose regular trash collection day is Friday, Saturday or Monday should put their trash at the curb as usual. Because Christmas Day is a Sunday when no regular trash routes are scheduled, no customers will miss a pickup day. Curbside recycling routes also will operate as usual and will not be affected by the holiday.

The City of Tulsa greenwaste site, 10401 E. 56th St. North, will be closed Saturday, Dec. 24, through Monday, Dec. 26, for the Christmas holiday. The greenwaste site usually is open every day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to wood chips, free firewood also is available at the site. Those who come for firewood need to bring their own tools to cut it.

Tulsa Parks recreation centers will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, through Monday, Dec. 26. The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter, 3031 N. Erie Ave., will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24, but closed on Sunday, Dec. 25, and Monday, Dec. 26. The shelter usually is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m., and closed Sundays and Mondays.

Mohawk Park Golf Course and Page Belcher Golf Course will be open on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 23 and 24, but will be closed on Sunday, Dec. 25. Tulsa Zoo will be closed on Sunday, Dec. 25. Gilcrease Museum will be closed Sunday, Dec. 25, and Monday, Dec. 26. Tulsa Performing Arts Center offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, through Monday, Dec. 26, but the ticket office will be open two hours before evening performances on Dec. 23.
