The Tulsa PAC Unveils Their New Website in Honor of 35th Season

ARCHIVED PRESS RELEASE: Published 11-23-2011

The Tulsa Performing Arts Center will be 35 years old in March. Celebrating its longevity and enhancing its customer service, the PAC has launched a new website at www.tulsapac.com

"This website will be easier for our customers to navigate," says PAC Director John Scott. "Ticket-buying online has never been more user-friendly and convenient."

The website offers detailed show information and seating charts along with a "view-from-your-seat" option. Information about parking, PAC rental, gift certificates, and the PAC's regional ticketing company, MyTicketOffice.com, is provided. Printing your tickets at home is still an option on the new site. A tickets-plus-dining package is planned for the near future. One new feature is a homepage calendar allowing users to move a cursor over any date and see all events scheduled for that date. The PAC can have as many as six events happening at one time in different spaces throughout the venue. Also new on the site is an expanded list of downtown restaurants and hotels and a comprehensive FAQ. Links to the PAC's series presenters and City of Tulsa services are included. Those wanting to volunteer as ushers can sign up in the volunteer opportunities section, and customers wishing to receive presales and ticket discount via email can enter contact info. Both INTERMISSION magazine and the PAC's season brochure are downloadable from the site.

"We've established an enviable record over the past 35 years of delivering consistent and dependable customer service," says Scott. "This new site continues that tradition."

The Tulsa Performing Arts Center is a city-owned facility. It was built with a combination of public and private funds and opened its doors March 19, 1977. The Center serves 14 resident arts organizations and national touring companies that book the building throughout the year.
