Inspection Services

Inspection Services inspects for building, sign, zoning, plumbing, water and sewer service, mechanical, watershed, sidewalk and driveway and electrical code compliance. Additionally, Inspection is responsible for the administration of the Building, Housing and Fire Prevention, Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Appeals Boards. The section also performs annual inspections for the trades, and investigates citizens' complaints of Code related issues.

City Recruiting Volunteers for Removal of Illegal Signs

Illegal signs litter the rights-of-way along city streets. The City of Tulsa is seeking volunteers to help with regular removal of such signs. Volunteers will get classroom instruction, then go to the field with professional inspectors.
