Development Services and Permitting

Development Services and Permitting

Every city in America requires permits and inspections before certain property changes and uses can go forward. Whether it's demolishing an old building or constructing a new one, we all depend on local government to regulate these activities to protect us from property related disasters. The City of Tulsa works hard to make this process as easy and hassle-free as possible without compromising the integrity of building and zoning codes.

Everything starts with a plan review. Residential permits include one- and two- family dwelling(s) and their accessory structures, while commercial permits include all other residential structures, as well as commercial and industrial structures.
