Many people ask why all the lights are on at night at City Hall at One Technology Center. In fact, it just appears all the lights are turned-on. The glass façade makes the building see-through and features perimeter/security up-lighting. Rather than shining down, the lights shine up and reflect off the white ceiling giving the illusion from outside of being very bright.
Some of the floors may be lit at night because cleaning staffs are working on that floor. Also, several floors are leased to private businesses which have 24/7 operations.
City Hall at One Technology Center is extremely energy efficient.
