Recovery and Investment Coordinating Council
Mayor Kathy Taylor has convened a City of Tulsa Coordinating
Council that will oversee and communicate on goals and objectives
for the ARRA grants funding.
Under the direction of City of Tulsa Risk Manager Cathy
Criswell, a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Public
Accountant, the Coordinating Council members will communicate on
the process and outcomes, set direction for ARRA related
activities, manage deadlines and set the pace for work, coordinate
with all City departments and related agencies. They will receive
input from the City Council and coordinate the development and
approval of budget amendments. This ARRA Coordinating Council will
be responsible for making optimal and appropriate decisions
regarding the funding of projects for the homeless, workforce
development, law enforcement, public works and all
government-related programs and projects.
The ARRA Coordinating Council will meet on a regular basis for
at least 12-18 months.
