Resolution calling for, and requesting the Tulsa County Election Board to conduct, a non-partisan Special Election on August 25, 2026, to place before the electors of the City of Tulsa, the question of approval or disapproval of Ordinance No. 25782, which grants a franchise to Oklahoma Natural Gas Company (ONG), a division of One Gas, Inc., a Corporation, to allow ONG to use the public rights-of-way to transport, distribute and sell natural gas to consumers and the general public within the City; reproducing the exact ballot language; allowing for absentee balloting; requesting the Tulsa County Election Board to coordinate with the Election Boards of other counties in which the City of Tulsa is located; requesting that those voting precincts located partially inside and partially outside the city limits of the City of Tulsa remain open for the election; requesting the Mayor to issue a proclamation calling the election.
