Support Camps

NEW UPDATE: Friday, October 30, 2020

With Tulsa Public Schools announcing their plan to start transitioning students back to in-person learning in November, we have decided there is still a need to support students and families who either choose to continue with distance learning after November or those who may need additional support on Wednesdays during virtual learning.

We will continue to offer our Student Support Camps to Tulsa residents through December 18, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Enrollment is open to both current students & new families. There will be a $25 registration/materials fee per student per week for Monday-Friday support, and a $15 registration/materials fee per student per week for support on Wednesdays.

Student Support Camp Registration

Great news for parents and students of 1st through 6th graders. Our Student Support Camps have additional openings.

These camps are situated at several different community centers and feature pod-style learning areas where kids can complete their virtual/distance learning coursework under the supervision of a support aide. They’re open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Please note: the child will need to bring their own non-refrigerated lunch, a snack, and all materials needed to complete their learning, like laptops, course materials, etc. Also, support aides aren’t teachers, but they will be there to supervise and assist children when possible and as needed.

There will be multiple COVID precautions in place, and there will be about 10 students per pod, with an Aide supervising each pod. Camps are expected to last through December, and we’ll re-evaluate based on need at that time.
