On August 8, 2023, voters approved a third Improve Our Tulsa package funded by General Obligation Bonds and a sales tax extension. Crutchfield was allocated $1,000,000 to enhance the neighborhood. Help us understand how the Crutchfield neighborhood might be improved!
The Tulsa Planning office conducted two public engagement workshops to learn how and where community members want the City to invest in their neighborhood.
During these workshops residents completed maps with proposed projects/improvement recommendations.
Recommendations included:
| Construct and repair sidewalks, ramps and crosswalks | Park improvements |
| Neighborhood identity gateways and signage | Traffic calming |
| Seating, trash bins, bike racks and wayfinding signage | Public art |
In 2025, the City of Tulsa's Planning Office launched a survey and held 2 workshops for the Crutchfield neighborhood to gather input from residents. The information was analyzed and delivered to City departments responsible for determining project feasibility. City departments are currently developing recommendations, which will then be implemented. Identified priorities that may be eligible for these funds include:
Park Improvements (43%)
In Crutchfield & Bullette Park, such as lighting, playground equipment, loop trail & sports courts
Traffic (19%)
Such as signage & speed humps
Neighborhood Identity & Wayfinding (17%)
Such as murals, gateways & signage
Walkability (12%)
Such as sidewalks & safe crossings
Trees & Landscaping (5%)
Bus Stop Improvements (4%)
