Volunteer opportunity description:

These volunteers deliver Alzheimer’s Association Core Curriculum using prepared training materials on topics related to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias as well as information for individuals and families impacted by the disease. Community Educator training is provided monthly in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Community Educator positions needed statewide.

Commitment: AACE volunteers commit to a 1-year term delivering a minimum of 4 presentations. Background checks are required as part of the volunteer selection process.

Training: Community Educator will be trained by the Association in a 6 hour session, which includes Volunteer Orientation.
