Hospice Volunteer

Volunteer opportunity description: 

Suncrest Hospice is looking for volunteers to join the Suncrest Team as we provide excellent care and support to our hospice patients and their families in their homes! The philosophy of hospice care is to provide comfort and the highest quality of life that one can achieve at the end of life. Through an interdisciplinary team: nurse, home health aide, social worker, chaplain and volunteers, we help the patient and family walk through their journey. As a volunteer, you can choose between many opportunities: The gift of companionship Caregiver respite Bereavement support Integrative therapy, pet therapy, and vigil Assist office staff with administrative tasks Partake in special projects for our patients.

Volunteer requirements: 

Volunteers must be 18 years or older and available to provide at least a few hours a week of volunteer time.

We need volunteers who are free at these times: 

Monday - Friday

A few hours a week
