Community Centers

Tulsa Parks operates seven community centers and three specialty centers located in parks throughout Tulsa. Each center offers a variety of classes, activities, and events.

The three specialty centers concentrate programs in a specific area. The centers include Henthorne Performing Arts Center, Oxley and Redbud Valley Nature Centers, and WaterWorks Art Center.

Hicks Weight RoomCenters such as Lacy and Hicks offer fitness facilities equipped with weight machines, free weights, rowing machines, treadmills, stationary bicycles and other exercise equipment. Some centers have full-court gymnasiums, dance studios and gymnastics equipment. Weight Room Info

Several centers host summer day camps and camps during Tulsa Public Schools' Spring Break. Each community center provides year-round programming designed to meet the needs of the community including games, fitness, arts and crafts, self-improvement, and social activities.

Community Center Events
Community centers also hold special events throughout the year that are fun and usually free or low-cost. The following is a list of centers and events that are upcoming:

Whiteside will be hosting an egg hunt for your four-legged friends on April 19.
Central will be hosting a seminar on trees on April 22 and a seminar on money on April 29.
Lacy will be hosting an egg hunt on April 17.
Hicks will be hosting an egg hunt on April 16.
