Pets are more than just animals; they’re our companions, friends, and family members. We understand that sometimes circumstances beyond your control may make it challenging to keep your pet, and we want to assist you in any way we can.
As one of the largest municipal shelters in the region, we strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment for every animal that comes through our doors. However, because of our shelter's crisis capacity, we would like you to consider every alternative to relinquishment and fully utilize the resources we offer before surrendering your pet to a shelter.
We have a list of resources available to assist you with keeping your pet at home or finding an alternate placement. Our goal is to help you resolve any problems you may be experiencing so that you can keep your beloved pet.
