Right-of-Way and Easement Closures

Engineering Services provides an application for review of requests to close right-of-way or easements due to development constraints or title issues. This process is often utilized for those experiencing these typical scenarios:

Buildings encroaching into City of Tulsa right-of-way or easements.
Redevelopment projects
Airspace encroachments
Right-of-way or easements no longer utilized

Encroachment Agreements

Engineering Services provides an application for review of requests to occupy right-of-way or easements with private improvements. Typical scenarios for requests of this nature are as follow:

Signs encroaching into right-of-way, planned right-of-way or easements.
Non-permanent structures constructed in right-of-way or easements.
Private street lighting
Trees and landscaping
Any private improvement, permanent or non-permanent, placed in public right-of-way or easements.
