Refuse and Recycling

Weather Update: January 22, 2024.

Due to the slick conditions, haulers had to postpone refuse collection on Monday. They will resume collecting trash on Tuesday. We kindly ask for your patience and request that you leave your cart at the curb for collection. For those who have backyard service, please make sure that the haulers can access your gate. They will make every effort to collect everything by the end of the day on Friday but will work on Saturday if needed.

There will be no recycling collections this week due to a planned outage for the recycling plant on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Please place any extra recycling in a recyclable container next to your recycling cart for collection next week.

Bulky waste collections are on a delayed schedule, but the collections crews will make every effort to collect your items in a timely manner. Please be patient, and they will try to catch up throughout the week as the weather improves.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to email Tulsa311@cityoftulsa.org and include your service address and a description of the issue.

Our trash service is based on a "pay-as-you-throw" model that allows you to control how much you pay each month. The less trash you throw out, the smaller the cart you need. And the smaller the cart you need, the less you pay.

The menu to the right will give you basic information regarding this service, along with a collection schedule and recycling options.

If you can't find the information you need, please call us at 311 during regular business hours.
