The Human Rights Commission consists of 15 members who broadly represent the diverse population of Tulsa. Commissioners are appointed for a term of three years and may be eligible for re-appointment for a consecutive term of three years.
The function of the Human Rights Commission is to foster mutual respect and understanding and to create an atmosphere conducive to the promotion of amicable relations among all members of the city's community.

Human Rights Commission meetings are held at 3:30 p.m. on the third Monday of the month, at City Hall, 175 East 2nd Street, 4th floor, Room 411.
