Adopt A Spot

Get involved.
Pledging now to adopt a spot in our city and community will make a difference for you, your family and your fellow citizens. Join in our efforts to once again make Tulsa "America's Most Beautiful City."

The City of Tulsa's Adopt-a-Spot Program
The City of Tulsa is looking for committed volunteers to help with a new and innovative program that will result in a cleaner, more beautiful environment - in our city, neighborhoods and community.

Whether you're a neighbor, part of a youth group or church, business, civic league, or a large organization, you can adopt a spot and be a part of helping us clean and beautify public spaces throughout our city that need a little extra attention.

Lend a hand and lead the way.
It's easy to participate. Pull together your own group of volunteers to clean and care for a park, median, or right-of-way on a long-term basis. Join the path toward a better Tulsa - committed volunteers will be showing visitors and residents alike that we take great pride in our city. Help Tulsa be known once again as "America's Most Beautiful City."

Here's what volunteers can expect to receive:

  • Certificate of adoption/recognition
  • Supplies such as trash bags, gloves and vests (determined on a case-by-case basis, depending on the size of the group and availability)
  • Recognition on the City of Tulsa's website

What do you or your organization need to do?

  • Commit to our Adopt-a-Spot program for one, three or five years
  • Select a location for your Adopt-a-Spot and secure approval
  • You and your organization are required to read safety information and submit your signed release and waiver form
  • Get started

When you or your group are approved:

  • City of Tulsa department personnel will contact you or your organization with approval of the adopted spot
  • City of Tulsa department personnel will schedule training on an as-needed basis according to availability of staff
