Dementia Friendly Tulsa seeks to train business that interact on a regular basis with individuals with dementia how to function in a way that helps those individuals continue to be thriving members of society. The trainings last 1 hour and are presented by a Dementia Friendly Tulsa committee member.
In October 2017, Parlour Salon became the first business in Oklahoma to be Dementia Friendly trained.
