Tulsa Parks Wants to Know What You Want in YOUR City Parks!

What improvements would make the parks you love even better? What attracts you to our neighborhood parks – play equipment? Walking trails? Landscaping? Or something else? Are there great park features you’ve seen in other communities you would like to see in Tulsa? Or do you just have ideas in general that would help us be better?

You are helping us answer these questions! In 2020, Tulsa Parks kicked off a series of community engagement initiatives, including virtual community meetings, multiple public surveys, new public emails and phone numbers and community outreach events, that are being used to inform and prioritize taxpayers’ investments, as well as help shape a renewed Parks Master Plan to focus our efforts over the next five years.

Current Public Surveys &  Feedback Channels

Looking to get in contact with the right person? We have an automated phone directory that can help. Just call (918) 596-PARK (7275). You can also send open feedback, ideas and questions to tulsaparks@cityoftulsa.org.

Tulsa Parks Sports Court Improvement Survey

Tulsa Parks will be working to improve sports courts (tennis, basketball, pickleball, etc.) across the city as part of the Improve our Tulsa tax package. Many of our courts need repair, but we also know that in some parks, users may prefer the space be converted to other uses. Please let us know what you would like to see addressed and improved at sports courts in this park by taking our public survey.

Thank you for your time and help to make Tulsa Parks better!

Berry & Chamberlain Park Community Meetings

Tulsa Parks recently held two community meetings to share proposed improvements for Berry & Chamberlain parks, and gather community feedback.

  • Community Meeting #1 was Monday, April 26, and was held virtually via Zoom
  • Community Meeting #2 was Tuesday, May 4 at Jane A. Malone Center in Chamberlain Park

Community feedback from the meetings was gathered and will be posted here soon.

Public Feedback Results & Resources

Since September 2020, we have received feedback from over 1,200 Tulsa residents via our public survey, virtual community zoom meetings, emails and voicemails. We have now ended accepting public feedback for those initiatives and are focusing on reviewing and analyzing your comments, thoughts and ideas. As we continue our efforts, we have scheduled the following meetings to keep the public informed and engaged in the process to update our Master Plan.
