What improvements would make the parks you love even better? What attracts you to our neighborhood parks – play equipment? Walking trails? Landscaping? Or something else? Are there great park features you’ve seen in other communities you would like to see in Tulsa? Or do you just have ideas in general that would help us be better?
You are helping us answer these questions! In 2020, Tulsa Parks kicked off a series of community engagement initiatives, including virtual community meetings, multiple public surveys, new public emails and phone numbers and community outreach events, that are being used to inform and prioritize taxpayers’ investments, as well as help shape a renewed Parks Master Plan to focus our efforts over the next five years.

Tulsa Parks Sports Court Improvement Survey
Tulsa Parks will be working to improve sports courts (tennis, basketball, pickleball, etc.) across the city as part of the Improve our Tulsa tax package. Many of our courts need repair, but we also know that in some parks, users may prefer the space be converted to other uses. Please let us know what you would like to see addressed and improved at sports courts in this park by taking our public survey.
Thank you for your time and help to make Tulsa Parks better!
Berry & Chamberlain Park Community Meetings
Join Tulsa Parks and other community leaders for a community meeting where we will share proposed improvements for Berry & Chamberlain parks, and then provide the opportunity for community feedback.
The meeting will be held using a hybrid model of limited in-person seating as well as online access to the meeting via Zoom. Please register to attend using the Eventbrite links below. During registration you’ll have the opportunity to choice the type of way you want to participate, and then additional instructions for the meeting will be emailed to you.
Please note, for those attending in-person, masks are mandatory as well as other COVID-19 safety protocols.
Two community meetings are planned currently (click the links below to register for the meeting you can attend):
If you have questions or need additional accommodations to participate in this meeting, please email tulsaparks@cityoftulsa.org.
Looking to get in contact with the right person? We have an automated phone directory that can help. Just call (918) 596-PARK (7275). You can also send open feedback, ideas and questions to letstalktulsaparks.org.
Since September 2020, we have received feedback from over 1,200 Tulsa residents via our public survey, virtual community zoom meetings, emails and voicemails. We have now ended accepting public feedback for those initiatives and are focusing on reviewing and analyzing your comments, thoughts and ideas. Stay tuned here for updates on what trends we found and when we plan to present our findings to the City and public.
