Neighborhood Connect is a City of Tulsa program inspired by neighborhood representatives who want to engage with surrounding leaders, local organizations, and businesses in a collaborative environment designed for sharing ideas in a neutral space.

What is the purpose?
Neighborhood Connect assists neighborhood leaders and organizations in planning networking events within the city to:

• Share ideas
• Build working partnerships
• Strengthen community connections

How does the program work?
Neighborhood Connect follows a simple five-step process:

• Submit Interest Form – A neighborhood representative expresses interest in hosting an event.
• Craft the Agenda – Staff helps develop an agenda with neighborhood leaders.
• Schedule & Coordinate – Planning Office staff assists with coordinating the event and responsibilities.
• Send Invitations – Recipients may include City Councilors, relevant City staff, neighborhood leaders, local organizations, businesses, among others.
• Host the Event – City staff assists with a one-time event lasting up to three hours.
