It will examine addiction through a neuroscience-based, disease-model framework, helping attendees to better understand how substance use alters brain reward, motivation, and decision-making systems. By exploring early warning signs, disease progression, and parallels to other chronic medical conditions, attendees will gain practical insight into why addiction-driven behaviors persist despite consequences.

  • Addiction as a Disease
  • Evidence-based treatment approaches, lifestyle changes, and recovery pathways that support long-term healing
